Certified Staff Monetary Compensation
2023-2024 School Year: BA/Step 1 = $47,950; MA/Step 1 = $55,002; MA+32/Step 1 = $67,743
2024-2025 School Year: Total increase (Base plus Step) equals 90% of CPI-U or 2.25%, whichever is higher.
2025-2026 School Year: Total increase (Base plus Step) equals 90% of CPI-U or 2.25%, whichever is higher.
District 33 believes in education and rewards your continuous educational growth by offering 10-12 lanes on the salary schedule, which allows you to move up on the salary schedule at your own pace.

New Certified Staff Induction and Mentoring Program
West Chicago District 33 has developed a comprehensive program that is built around transitioning new certified staff into D33 and furthering professional growth. The mission of the New Staff Induction and Mentoring Program is to ensure that the practice of our educators promotes students to thrive academically, physically, socially and emotionally.
The vision of West Chicago District 33 is to provide New Staff Induction and Mentoring Program that enhances student learning by promoting the personal and professional growth of our educators. This program will foster collegiality, encourage best practice and create a culture of support within a community of learners.
New staff will begin the year with a multi-day New Staff Induction. These days will focus on acclimating staff with District 33 while getting to know colleagues and mentors. All activities through the program are aligned to our district goals and designed to improve instructional practices of teachers to help them successfully and seamlessly transition into D33.
