Exclusion from School / Work

  • District 33 will follow the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) COVID-19 Interim Exclusion Guidance for any symptomatic individual. A symptomatic individual is defined as having ANY of the following symptoms (not attributed to allergies or pre-existing medical condition):
    (revised 3/9/21, subject to updates)

    • Fever of 100.4 F, or greater
    • New onset of moderate to severe headache
    • Shortness of breath
    • New cough
    • Sore throat
    • Vomiting
    • Diarrhea
    • New loss of sense of taste or smell
    • Fatigue from unknown cause
    • Muscle or body aches from an unknown cause

    Please continue to report symptoms, close contacts, travel, and positive cases to the appropriate D33 COVID Liaison:
