Air Conditioning in all of our school buildings completed! A long-awaited project was completed this Fall 2024. All school buildings now have air conditioning. All these projects were completed without borrowing money.

Long Range Facilities Plan - 2022

Air conditioning at Leman Middle School and the gyms and offices of the elementary schools were completed except for Currier and Wegner’s offices, which will be done during the summer of 2023.

Long Range Facilities Plan Update - 2020

In the summer of 2020, approximately $11.7 million worth of improvements were completed to facilities throughout the district. Money to fund these projects came from the existing fund balance.  No money was borrowed to complete these updates. 

Long Range Facilities Plan Updates - 2019

In District 33 we continue to make excellent progress on the implementation of the strategic plan. Within this plan, the goal of “Effective and Efficient Use of Resources” drives us to ensure that our facilities are well maintained. The first phase of the plan was completed last August and the second phase begins this summer. Many of these projects had been set aside in the past due to financial concerns. Fortunately, after several years of diligent savings, we are able to fund these projects through current fund balances, not through additional taxes.

Long Range Facilities Plan Updates - 2018

The Business Department and the Facilities and Grounds Department just completed a large amount of facilities work this past summer. Projects were completed on time and under budget.
